The Upland Teachers Association (UTA) is a union of professional educators and the recognized employee organization for the teachers and specialists working for the Upland Unified School District.  We believe that a high quality public education is the right of every child.  UTA assists teachers in advocating for sound instructional practices and strives to improve classroom environments and working conditions for all unit members. UTA also works to ensure due process and protect the rights of all unit members.

 

Affiliated with the California Teachers Association (CTA) and the National Education Association (NEA), The Upland Teachers Association was chartered in 1954 and represents approximately 550 teachers and specialists at fourteen school sites from preschool through grade twelve.
